Feedback Wanted: TDR Implementation Research Toolkit and MOOC

Nov 9,2017 | Consortium_staff Announcements

The second edition of the TDR Implementation Research Toolkit, developed by The Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Disease (TDR) in partnership with the Access and Delivery Project (ADP), and a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) in implementation research are set to be released in early 2018.

The TDR Implementation Research Toolkit was launched in 2014 and provides deeper learning on implementation research, helping people learn a standard process that can lead to results that can be compared across regions and countries. It is designed to help identify system bottlenecks and the stakeholders to be involved in the process, formulate appropriate research questions, conduct the research and develop a plan for implementing the study results.

The MOOC in implementation research is an interactive tool that helps introduce viewers to the concepts of implementation research. It includes case studies spread over 5 modules. The intended audience for the training is public health researchers and decision makers, academic and research institutions and public health practitioners.
