The G-I-N Conference is a unique event for all those who work with guidelines in health and care to come together; from development and methodology through to implementation and evaluation.

This years conference theme is  “Why we do what we do: the purpose and impact of guidelines”.  G-I-N 2018 will provide the opportunity for discussions on a wide range of issues including the benefits of guidelines for patients and how they can support shared decision making, to addressing variations in care.

It is an exceptional opportunity to reflect on what your peers are doing in the field of evidence based-practice and the challenges we face in this digital age, as well as the role that guidelines play in driving and enabling high quality care.

G-I-N is delighted to be working with two founder members this year – the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN).  Both organisations are well established and internationally recognised for their leadership in guideline development.

They will join us to host the event at The Principal Hotel, Manchester – one of the of the most exciting and vibrant places to visit in the UK right now.

Whether attending as a delegate or presenting a session, G-I-N 2018 will provide you with a platform to learn about the latest guideline developments, learn from peers and have an opportunity for networking and making new contacts in the guideline world.

The deadline to submit abstracts is April 11, 2018.
