Assistant Professor in Implementation and Dissemination at University of Nevada, Reno [Apply by October 15, 2017]

The University of Nevada, Reno, School of Community Health Sciences is seeking a candidate for a nine-month, state-funded, tenure-track position in Social and Behavioral Health at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning July 1, 2018. A focus on quantitative approaches and implementation and dissemination research is preferred.

The School of Community Health Sciences has over 1,700 majors in the undergraduate program with another 70 graduate students in the Master of Public Health program and the PhD program. The successful applicant is expected to engage in both independent and collaborative research projects, teach successfully in the graduate and undergraduate programs, and engage in the development of the new School of Public Health.

The University of Nevada, Reno is the State of Nevada’s historic land-grant institution and is home to approximately 21,000 students, including nearly 3,000 graduate students. The University is currently classified as a Carnegie “Higher Research Activity” institution and offers an array of degree programs at all levels.

Reno hosts an active arts community with the University, the Nevada Museum of Art, and a wide range of independent arts institutions.
