The Masterclass is a two-day course designed for health professionals, researchers, patients and service users, policymakers, commissioners and managers. The Masterclass includes lectures, group work, and guidance to help participants work more effectively on implementation projects.

The main themes of the Masterclass are:

  • What is implementation science?
  • How can implementation science help ensure services offer the best treatment and care, informed by the latest research?
  • What is the best way to plan an effective implementation science project?

The 2018 Masterclass will be followed by a new international implementation science research conference on Thursday, July 19. Building on the themes explored in the Masterclass, the one-day conference will focus on the latest research in the implementation science field, with plenary lectures from leading academics, and parallel sessions and poster presentations open to researchers working in this area.
