As part of the Advanced Topics in Implementation Science webinar series hosted by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Division of Cancer Control & Population Sciences (DCCPS) Implementation Science Team, Dr. David Chambers will be joined by Dr. Heather Gold, NYU Langone Health and Dr. Ramesh Raghavan, Rutgers University to discuss progress in attending to health economics within implementation studies and next steps for the field. Drawing from the lead authors on health economics chapters in two recent edited volumes (Advancing the Science of Implementation across the Cancer Continuum and Dissemination and Implementation Research in Health), they will focus their discussion on the role of economic evaluation and cost effectiveness in implementation science.
The session will include approximately 25 minutes of comments from the speakers and 35 minutes for engaged discussion and Q&A with the audience.
