Assistant or Associate Professor – Drexel University [due Dec 15, 2016 or until position is filled]

The Department of Health Management and Policy in the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health seeks applicants for a tenure-line position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the area of population health management and/or implementation and translational science in public health and health care.
Candidates should have a history or a strong potential for collaborating with community organizations, government agencies, health systems, and other health and social service organizations. Interest and experience in studying health disparities, social determinants of health, and urban health are of particular interest, as these are areas of special focus and strength for the Department and the School.

Candidates should be emerging or established scholars with an earned doctorate in a health-related field such as public health, health management and policy, community health, public policy, health information science, sociology, demography, psychology, epidemiology, political science, economics, statistics, or other relevant discipline. Doctoral candidates who anticipate completion of their degree before September 1, 2017 will also be considered. Candidates for appointment at the Associate Professor level must have a strong record of relevant research, publications, interdisciplinary collaboration, teaching, and extramural funding. Candidates for appointment at the Assistant Professor level must be able to demonstrate a strong potential for accomplishment in these areas. The successful candidate will collaborate in developing research initiatives jointly with other faculty in the department and throughout the Dornsife School of Public Health.
