The Implementation and Quality Improvement Coordinator will provide project management, coordination and data analysis for the Quality Care Initiative and internal JBCC quality improvement initiatives. The Implementation and Quality Improvement Coordinator will assist with data cleaning, analyzing, and reporting of project specific implementation and outcome data. The Implementation and Quality Improvement Coordinator will also manage many of the day-to-day operations of quality improvement initiatives. This includes acting as a liaison, providing technical assistance and support, assisting JBCC senior staff in the preparation and dissemination of training and implementation materials, and supporting the efforts of the Quality Care Initiative.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support JBCC staff to achieve project specific implementation and quality improvement deliverables
• Coordinate all implementation activities, meetings, trainings, contracts, invoices, and other implementation supporting activities
• Collaborate with JBCC staff to integrate quality improvement initiatives, activities, and techniques in support of organizational strategic goals
• Support the implementation of quality improvement plans, initiatives, and measurement strategies
• Work with JBCC staff to coordinate and assist with data systems development and maintenance, data collection, coding, management, and reporting of both process and outcome data
• Use statistical, and word processing applications (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Word, PowerPoint) to manage, analyze, and report on quality improvement and implementation data
• Synthesize and analyze data
• Produce reports that include professional-quality tables, graphs, and figures and written interpretation of findings
• Utilize data reports to set program benchmarks, develop quality improvement goals, and plans
• Respond to ad hoc data analysis requests
• Participate in off-site meetings with external partners
• Conduct literature and data searches/reviews
• Conduct ad hoc research for implementation projects, presentations, and papers
• Assist in grant writing, contract development, and management
• Provide consultation to state agencies and/or behavioral health providers through in-person site visits, one-on-one telephone calls, and conference calls
• Collaborate with JBCC staff to develop and disseminate quality improvement strategies for internal and external projects to JBCC
• Assist with other aspects of implementation and quality improvement including administrative and operational support as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Master’s degree required; coursework in psychology, public health and/or statistics and measurement or other related field preferred
• Understanding of quality improvement principles and strategies
• Ability to apply quality improvement strategies and principles in real world settings to improve the quality of care
• Requires at least two-years of experience with quality improvement and program implementation with an emphasis on data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Experience with large datasets and statistical analysis using SPSS for quality improvement or evaluation purposes
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SPSS
• Experience using online database systems and/or survey tools
• Experience presenting quality improvement and implementation data to diverse audiences
• Ability to work and complete assignments independently
• Must be extremely organized, efficient, adaptive, and a good team player that likes to work in a collaborative environment
• Knowledge of the mental health, education, child welfare, and/or juvenile justice systems
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a team

SALARY AND HOURS

Salary commensurate with experience and subject to available funding.
Projected salary range: 50k-60k
