As part of the Advanced Topics in Implementation Science webinar series hosted by the National Cancer Institute Division of Cancer Control & Population Sciences Implementation Science Team, Dr. David Chambers will host a discussion with Drs. Maria Fernandez and Gregory Aarons discuss the development, submission and review of grants and scientific publications from the perspective of both author and reviewer. They will also touch on larger issues for the field including the scientific and technical aspects of career development in implementation science, focusing research efforts, and the landscape of traditional journals, open access, social media, and other mechanisms for communicating research.
The session will include approximately 35 minutes of discussion from the speakers and 25 minutes for Q&A with the audience.
