Advanced Topics in Implementation Science Webinar Series
Date(s): September 25, 2017, 12:00-1:00pm EDT
Presented by: David Chambers

As part of the Advanced Topics in Implementation Science webinar series hosted by the National Cancer Institute Division of Cancer Control & Population Sciences Implementation Science Team, Dr. David Chambers will host a discussion with three individuals working at the NIH in implementation science in a global space:

  • Rachel Sturke from the Fogarty International Center (FIC),
  • Christopher Gordon from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), and
  • Cynthia Vinson from NCI, who has in recent years co-led implementation science efforts with the Center for Global Health (CGH)

Topics for discussion include an overview of global dissemination and implementation research efforts across the National Institutes of Health, future directions, key research and training needs, as well as other priority areas. This will be the first in a two-part chat in global implementation science; we hope to be joined subsequently by funded, international D&I grantees who will speak to similar issues from the researcher perspective.

The session will include approximately 30 minutes of discussion from the speakers and 30 minutes for discussion and Q&A with the audience.

Registration for this webinar is required. Visit the NCI website to learn more and to register.

Captioning can be provided during the presentation. Individuals with disabilities who need reasonable accommodation to participate in this event should contact NCIdccpsISteam@mail.nih.gov no later than the Monday before the session.
