The 2018 International Forum on Quality & Safety in Healthcare is a biannual conference for healthcare professionals in quality improvement and safety. The Forum is jointly organized by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and BMJ and will be hosted in the spring in Amsterdam, Netherlands and in the autumn in Melbourne, Australia.
Spring forum organizers will be accepting abstract submissions for poster displays on the following topics:
- Safety
- Quality, Cost, Value
- Person and Family Centered Care
- Population and Public Health
- Building Capability and Leadership
- Work in Progress
- Improvement Science Research
Key dates for Spring Forum
- November 6, 2017—Deadline for submitting abstracts
- February 7, 2018—Early registration ends

Autumn forum organizers will be accepting proposals for the call for speakers through October 16, 2017 and proposals for poster displays through April 25, 2018. The topics of themes for poster displays are:

- Building Capacity and Leadership
- Work in Progress
Key dates for Autumn Forum
- October 16, 2017—Deadline for submitting proposals for the call for speakers
- April 25, 2018—Deadline for submitting proposals for posters displays
