Partnership with UNC’s Implementation Science Student Group

The UNC-CH Implementation Science Student Group (ISSG) and the Consortium for Implementation Science (CIS), a joint endeavor between UNC-CH and RTI International, have partnered together to continue the work of the Consortium and promote one another’s goals of providing up-to-date information, opportunities, and resources related to implementation science.

The ISSG was formed on the campus of UNC in 2014 to help students interested in implementation science navigate the world of D&I, including connecting students to local and national resources.

Although the ISSG has worked with the CIS on previous events, the relationship between the two groups has grown into a full partnership. The ISSG will support the work of the CIS, taking over the responsibility of editing and publishing the newsletter in addition to continuing to publicize relevant CIS events. In addition to this, student members of the ISSG will have greater access to implementation science faculty and researchers at both institutions, and greater knowledge about local implementation science resources. ISSG and CIS look forward to working together in the years to come. For more information about the ISSG visit their website and the CIS at their website.
