Cofounded by a psychologist at the University of Washington, the “Owl” measurement feedback system contains a digital library of ~100 evidence-based and ideographic patient-reported outcome measures (PROM), as well as an array of computerized adaptive tests based on Item Response Theory (IRT). Seeking a psychologist with expertise in the use of quantitative measurement to improve healthcare treatment.

Responsibilities

Design and lead the company’s Measurement Strategy:

  • Engage with Sales and Senior Leadership to develop a roadmap for measures development
  • Identify and drive usage of key measures and metrics (generate meaningful data)
  • Drive ongoing quality and accuracy improvements to the MBC platform
  • Manage customer communications around measures requests or changes

Maintain the Measures Library

  • Update measures (maintain versioning by adding, retiring or substituting measures as needed
  • Secure permissions and licensing of measures
  • Conduct research for measures (survey literature and gather citations)
  • Develop measure specifications for technical development
  • Clinically validate measures (post development and technical QA) Required Qualifications
  • PhD in Clinical or Quantitative Psychology or closely related field (e.g., Psychiatry)
  • Deep domain knowledge of measurement and evidence-based assessment
  • Proficiency in the use of Reliable Change Index (RCI) scores, effect sizes and other indices of both statistically and clinically significant change

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Item Response Theory (IRT) and Computerized Adaptive Tests (CAT)
  • Experience with use of PROM data to generate meaningful metrics and predictive analytics
  • Experience in evidence-based screening and routine outcome monitoring in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to take a leadership role and work well both independently and as part of a team
