The Division of Public Health Sciences in the Department of Surgery invites applications for multiple tenure-track/tenured positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. The Washington University School of Medicine has a strong team of public health researchers and an outstanding record of biomedical and social science research that range from biology to genomics to social determinants of health, implementation, and population sciences. The diverse faculty in the Division collaborate with departments across the medical and university campuses through research projects, teaching, and mentoring. We also lead studies across regional health systems including rural and underserved populations.

Successful candidates will have: a doctoral degree in public health, psychology, epidemiology, applied anthropology, or a related field; a demonstrated track record of research excellence; excellent oral and written communication skills. In addition to research commitment, the candidates will have a strong interest in teaching and mentoring graduate students and a desire as well as demonstrated ability to collaborate with research investigators in public health and/or medical fields of study. They are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in cancer disparities, implementation science, and interventions across the cancer care continuum.
