Assistant or Associate Scientist, Henry Ford Health System (HFHS) Center for Health Policy and Health Services Research

Henry Ford Health System’s (HFHS) Center for Health Policy and Health Services Research is seeking applicants for multiple positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Scientist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in implementation science, health economics, health policy research, and/or health services research.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this senior level position, the individual must have a PhD, MD or equivalent degree; post-doctoral research experience; evidence of scholarly activity (publication of papers in peer-reviewed journals); potential to be an independent and externally-funded investigator (if hired at level 1) or clear evidence of an independent career (if hired at level 2). Research Bioscientific Staff are expected to obtain NIH and other research funding; publish papers in peer-reviewed journals; report data at scientific meetings; participate in academic activities (i.e. NIH study sections, editorial boards); and participate in HFHS research activities as requested by the Director of the Center and Henry Ford’s Research Administration. Hired by HFHS as Senior Bioscientific Staff (full time researcher).
