About the Summer Institute:
Studying with Duke University’s world-renowned faculty, you’ll broaden your expertise in population health and add new research methods to your toolbox.
Do you want to learn how to:
- Translate research results into policy and practice
- Learn about stakeholder-engaged study design
- Determine best practices for collecting and analyzing PROs (patient reported outcomes)
- Study the principles of qualitative questionnaire design
These topics and more will be covered during our introductory or advanced research methods short courses that will help you approach your studies from multiple perspectives, better understand your context, and be more innovative in your proposals, design, and analysis.
The Summer Institute runs from June 3-13, 2019. You can register for as little as one course or as many as all six:

June 5: Beginner Qualitative Research
June 6: Advanced Qualitative Research
June 10: Beginner Population Health Topics
June 11: Advanced Population Health Topics
June 12: Beginning Dissemination & Implementation Science
