Associate/Full Professor, Dissemination and Implementation Science, San Diego State University
The School of Public Health (SPH) at San Diego State University (SDSU) seeks an Associate Professor or Professor with established expertise in Dissemination and Implementation Science (D&I) in public health. This new faculty member will join a vibrant faculty and school that offers degree programs for undergraduate, masters, and doctoral programs. Qualifications
Candidates for this full-time, State-supported, tenure-track position (at the Associate Professor or Professor rank) should possess a doctoral degree in public health or other closely related field, with an established and clear track-record in D&I research. The successful candidate should have experience and expertise in developing and applying D&I models and translating evidence-based interventions to practices and/or policies into address health disparities in real-world settings. The successful candidate will possess strong research capability as evidenced by an appropriate history of or potential for research and publication in top-tier refereed journals. Special consideration will be given to applicants with expertise in system change (including but not limited to organizational and community systems), and/or in areas related to Latino/a/x health, border health, sexual health or cancer. However, we encourage applicants in all areas of D&I research to apply. The successful candidate will teach, develop/maintain an independent program of research, and obtain extramural funding. Additional responsibilities include curriculum development, thesis and dissertation supervision, and field practice supervision.
