Institute for Implementation Science Scholars, Washington University in St. Louis
Date(s): June 21-26 Location: St. Louis, Missouri Applications due January 29, 2020 at 9am CT/10am ET.
Individuals from a range of disciplines (PhDs, MDs, social scientists, psychologists), institutions, and geography are encouraged to apply. Scholars should be early career researchers (within five years of conferral of their doctorate) or mid-career scholars who want to pursue dissemination and implementation research in chronic disease prevention.
Participation in this program requires:
- Prior experience writing/co-writing an NIH award or one to another government agency or foundation
- Full time appointment at a home institution with an on-site mentor supportive of the scholar’s progress in grant writing and publications in the area of D&I research (this training does not provide salary support).
- Access to a health department, clinic, service, and/or policy setting that can serve as pilot site for the scholar’s D&I research.
