EIE2021 Pre-Event Webinar: Organization Theory for Implementation Science (OTIS)
Date: Wednesday, February 24, 3:00-4:30pm CET
Organization Theory for Implementation Science (OTIS) is a user-friendly resource to help integrate organisation theory into implementation research and practice. It is based on the premise that organization theory offers highly relevant, yet untapped explanations of organisational dynamics influencing implementation. OTIS helps to integrate organisation theory into implementation science, thereby contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of how, why, and under what circumstances implementation occurs than currently possible with extant implementation science frameworks.
Next to presenting OTIS, the team will help and guide attendees in understanding how to integrate the tool in their implementation research. There will also be rich opportunity to discuss the potential and bounds of organisational theory’s contributions to implementation science.
