Centre for Evidence and Implementation (CEI) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation motivated by their mission to improve the lives of people facing adversity. CEI works across a range of health and social sectors including child and family welfare, mental health, ageing, housing, education, and international development. CEI has grown rapidly since its inception in 2016 and has offices in Australia (Sydney and Melbourne), Singapore, and London.

The Manager, Knowledge Translation and Communications, is a newly created position to support CEI’s growing knowledge translation, content, and communication needs. The primary role of the position is to translate and disseminate the highest-impact discoveries, insights, and works-in-progress that CEI is undertaking globally, with the objectives of (1) advancing CEI’s mission to accelerate the use of the best evidence in policy and practice and (2) raising CEI’s public profile and supporting its growth.

The role will play a critical role in working with leadership to identify the ideas and discoveries that have the potential to support shifts in policy and practice across sectors and geographies, and then spearhead approaches to translate and disseminate these ideas for a lay audience. The role will need to work independently and confidently across multiple content areas and bring a track record of effective evidence translation and dissemination.

The role will also develop and drive a detailed workplan for CEI’s external communication, content creation, and knowledge translation in collaboration with the Senior Management Team. The role will develop, publish and drive CEI editorial, blogs, publications, content/campaigns on the website, and across social media. The role will promote events and showcase ongoing activities to CEI’s stakeholders as well as developing CEI’s stakeholder newsletter and occasional EDMs.
