Principal Consultant/Senior Consultant, Kaiser Permanente Care Management Institute Evidence Services
Kaiser Permanente’s Care Management Institute, Evidence Services is seeking a Principal Consultant and Senior Consultant to develop clinical practice guidelines and conduct rapid reviews for national quality initiatives. This work is part of KP’s national clinical knowledge management team, which aims to rapidly translate emerging research into practice. Evidence Services provides evidence-based methodology and statistical expertise, project management, and consensus building to develop clinical practice guidelines and advise on national quality initiatives. Working with senior leaders to build consensus across the enterprise, Evidence Services produces clinical practice guidelines and creates customized analyses that describe the rigor of available research. Knowledge products are developed using formal evidence review methods and rapidly translated into actionable tools for clinical users.
The CMI Senior Consultant role is appropriate for a candidate with a MPH, MS, or related degree with clinical epidemiology / research methodology training and experience doing evidence analysis and/or guideline work. The Principal Consultant serves as the methodologist lead. A PhD or master’s degree with additional training/direct experience is preferred for this role, and the candidate should be a demonstrated leader in developing, training, and innovating on advanced methodological and statistical topics, particularly as they pertain to the development of guidelines, evidence synthesis, clinical pathways, and other clinical knowledge products.
These positions are open to U.S. residents and are remote within Kaiser Permanente areas: CA, OR, WA, HI, CO, GA, MD, VA, and DC.
