The Hexagon: An Exploration Tool

The Hexagon Tool, which was the #1 most utilized resource on the State Implementation and Scaling-up of Evidence-based Practices (SISEP) Center AI Hub in 2022, can be used by communities and organizations to better understand how a new or existing program or practice fits into an implementing site’s existing work and context. The Hexagon Tool can be used at any stage of implementation to assess fit and feasibility. It is most used during the Exploration stage when a site may be identifying and selecting new programs and practices to implement.

The SISEP Center, a project within the National Implementation Research Network (NIRN), is housed within the FPG Child Development Institute at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
