Implementation Science Short Course, International Society of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity (ISBNPA)

This two-day course is designed to equip beginners in implementation science with the skills and knowledge needed to successfully translate research into practice in the field of physical activity, nutrition and health promotion.
Led by experienced facilitators who are experts in the field of implementation science, this course will cover key topics such as:
- Understanding the principles of implementation science
- Identifying barriers and facilitators to implementation using theories and framework
- Developing and testing implementation strategies
- Evaluating the effectiveness of implementation efforts
The course will consist of plenary lectures, working group assignments and individual coaching. Participants are advised to bring their own ‘case’ to the course (not mandatory).
The course will take place on June 12 and 13 at the Amsterdam UMC/VU University in Amsterdam, and the costs are 250 euro. Lunch on Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th, and a group dinner on Monday 12th in Amsterdam are included in the price. For more information, visit here.
