CDC Implementation Science Fellowship in Early Care and Education (ECE), Centers for Disease Control (CDC)
A training opportunity is currently available with the Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity (DNPAO) within the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP) at CDC in Atlanta, Georgia. This ORISE fellow training opportunity will focus on building public health skills related to implementation science and the use of evidence-based interventions to improve nutrition and physical activity behaviors. Intervention foci include the early care and education setting (also known as child care) and other key clinical and community settings to support healthy child growth and chronic disease prevention. The ORISE participant will build skill in developing generalizable knowledge from local knowledge by encouraging the use of common frameworks and harmonized constructs and measures, synthesizing information across sites, and applying lessons to a variety of sectors and settings.
