Tenure Track Faculty Positions in Implementation Science at the Health Promotion Research Center, University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC)
The TSET Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC) at the NCI Designated Stephenson Cancer Center (SCC) at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) is seeking applicants for 3 open rank tenure-track faculty positions who will focus on dissemination and implementation (D&I) science principles and healthcare delivery within a growing portfolio of cancer prevention and control research. SCC is committed to addressing tribal, rural and urban health inequities by sustaining strong collaborations with community organizations, tribal and other governmental agencies, healthcare systems, and other stakeholders in diverse communities across Oklahoma. These new faculty hires will accelerate the ability of SCC and the HPRC to advance cancer health equity throughout the statewide catchment area.
Research training is preferred in one or more of the following areas:
- Implementation and dissemination science
- Health services / practice-based research
- Community-engaged research (CEnR)
- Care quality improvement methodology and practice
These faculty positions offer extremely competitive salaries (e.g., Assistant Professor level starts at $125,000 + quarterly bonus) and come with generous start-up packages. Rank, salary, and start-up funding to be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Qualifications: Doctoral level degree (e.g., PhD, MD, DrPH) in a health-related field. Assistant Professor level applicants should have a strong academic record, with evidence of scholarship and show strong potential for acquiring extramural funding. Associate/Full Professor level applicants should have a strong record of extramural funding. Leadership opportunities are available based upon interest and qualifications.
