Division Chief of Implementation Science, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine
The Department of Medical Social Sciences (MSS) Feinberg School of Medicine (FSM), Northwestern University invites applications for a tenure track (Associate or Full Professor level) inaugural Division Chief for its newly formed Division of Implementation Science. They are looking for an outstanding mid-to-advanced career investigator, leader, and innovator with expertise in implementation science. Applications from individuals who represent diverse backgrounds, including those from underrepresented communities in medicine, are strongly encouraged.
The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the field of implementation science by developing cutting-edge research methods, designs, and analytic strategies. These efforts will contribute to the growth and expansion of the new Implementation Science Division within MSS. This position is situated within a medical school that has written implementation science into its strategic plan and recently launched the Center for Dissemination and Implementation Science (CDIS), led by inaugural director Dr. Sara Becker. The Division Chief will work closely with CDIS and other FSM entities to advance the mission of implementation science.
