Evans Center for Implementation and Improvement Sciences (CIIS) Co-Director, Boston University School of Medicine
The Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine is seeking a senior investigator (Full or Associate Professor level) to join their faculty and co-direct CIIS. The successful candidate will have expertise in implementation science research methods. The Co-Director will provide leadership in determining the strategic direction of CIIS; oversee management of daily activities and the fellowship program; and identify research projects that grow implementation science methods within the institution, particularly those focused on health equity in a safety net setting.
The goals of CIIS are to 1) guide, support, and innovate design of projects that rigorously evaluate the effectiveness of efforts to implement healthcare system change; 2) identify factors and strategies that accelerate the adoption and promote sustainability of effective healthcare interventions, especially in safety net systems; and 3) educate faculty and trainees in Implementation and Improvement Sciences. In addition to conducting its own research projects, CIIS also provides consultation to other projects, hosts regular implementation science methods training, and sponsors a junior faculty fellowship program.
