Advancing Measurement in Implementation Science: Introducing the new ASSESS section within the D&I Models in Health Webtool, National Cancer Institute (NCI)
Date(s): October 2, 2024, 3–4pm ET
This webinar will focus on the new ASSESS section, a new resource to aid in advancing measurement in implementation science (IS). The ASSESS section was developed by researchers at the University of Colorado and University of California San Diego, in collaboration with an advisory board with diverse expertise, to advance the selection and use of common measures, instruments, and assessments in implementation science. The ASSESS section is integrated into the broadly used Dissemination and Implementation (D&I) Models in Health webtool, providing a one-stop shop for planning, selecting, combining, adapting, and using theories, models, and frameworks, and assessing key constructs in IS. This webinar will provide an overview of the importance of measurement in implementation science, describe the overall ASSESS project and methodology, and demonstrate the use of the new tool for identifying and using a range of qualitative and quantitative assessments in implementation studies, as well as its linkage with the broader D&I Models in Health webtool.
